Legal technology for California public education

Helping school districts stay on the right side of the law.

Mymzi is an early-stage company building software that helps California public school districts and the attorneys who serve them manage legal compliance — clearly, defensibly, and with human judgment always in the loop.

What we’re building

California districts operate inside a dense web of legal obligations — special education, complaints and investigations, public records, open meetings, student discipline, and employment matters. Mymzi’s planned products and services apply modern AI to those workflows: reviewing documents against the controlling law, tracking statutory deadlines, and drafting the routine paperwork, with every finding backed by a citation to its legal authority.

We are exploring several product forms and delivery models within that scope, and expect the lineup to evolve as we work with early users. What won’t change is the principle: the software surfaces and supports — attorneys and district leaders decide.

Business model

Mymzi plans to sell software subscriptions and related services to public school districts, county offices of education, and the law firms that serve them, with pricing scaled to organization size and, for episodic work, to the matter. We may expand to other public education entities and other states over time.
